Privacy policy
A deed contains names, home addresses, and a description of your property. We treat that accordingly: we collect what the document needs, we keep it briefly, and we do not sell it to anyone.
What we collect

What we do not do
- We do not sell your data. Not to data brokers, not to lead generators, not to lawyers.
- We never see your card details. Stripe handles payment end to end.
- We do not put personal data in URLs, where it would leak through browser history and referrer headers.
- We do not use advertising trackers or third-party marketing pixels.
Who processes data for us
- Vercel. Hosting and delivery.
- Supabase. Database and document storage, encrypted at rest, protected by row-level security.
- Stripe. Payment processing. Stripe is the controller of your payment data under its own privacy policy.
- Resend. Transactional email delivery.
Retention
Abandoned drafts are deleted after 30 days. Generated documents are deleted from storage 90 days after purchase, and the personal payload is redacted from the order record at the same time. We keep a minimal order record (reference, date, amount) for accounting and tax purposes.
Your rights
- Access. Ask what we hold about you.
- Correction. Ask us to fix anything inaccurate.
- Deletion. Ask us to delete your data, subject to records we must keep for tax purposes.
- Portability. Ask for a copy in a machine-readable format.
- Opt out of sale or sharing. We do not sell or share personal information as those terms are defined by the CCPA, so there is nothing to opt out of.

A note on public records
A recorded deed is a public document
Once you record your deed with the county, it becomes part of the public record. Permanently, and typically searchable online. That is inherent to how the recording system works and is entirely outside our control. Never put a Social Security number, a date of birth, or a bank account number on a deed.
Children
The service is not directed at anyone under 18 and we do not knowingly collect data from children.
Security
Data is encrypted in transit and at rest. Database access is protected by row-level security, and generated documents are stored in a private bucket reachable only through short-lived signed links issued after your order token is verified.
